Appointment times are only available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Hunter Anxiety Clinic charges less than the Australia Psychological Society recommended fee of $300 for a 45 to 60 minute consultation. Appointment cost vary according to appointment type:
Please be aware that you may be entitled to a medicare rebate. Contact your General Practitioner to discuss if you are suitable for a Mental Health Care Plan. If you are suitable a rebate from Medicare of $137.05 for a 55 minute session and $86.15 for a 30 minute session is provided. A maximum of ten rebated sessions are provided from Medicare each calendar year. If you have private health insurance please check with your private health insurer to ascertain your private health insurance rebate.
Payment is required at the time of the appointment. You are welcome to pay by cash, card or direct transfer. Invoice will be issues at the time of the appointment and receipt will be generate when payment is received. You will need your receipt to claim your rebate from Medicare.
- Initial 55 minute appointment $230. Each client must initially book this appointment to allow for a thorough psychological assessment.
- Subsequent 55 minute treatments session $230
- Subsequent 30 minutes treatment session $115
